WATERTOWN, NY — On Sunday June 3, 2018, Jared C. Cook of 38875 County Route 24 passed away as a result of injuries sustained on May 30, 2018.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the cause of Mr. Cook’s injuries and is currently awaiting the results of a pending autopsy.
The sheriff’s office again is asking for the public’s assistance and looking to speak with anyone who may have driven County Route 24 on May 30, 2018, between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:00 pm.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s office at (315) 786-2601.
