WATERTOWN, NY — Victoria L. “Vicky” Majo, 60, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, in Watertown.
The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a date and time yet to be determined.
Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Born March 6, 1960, in Watertown, a daughter to Gordon and Amy (Toussant) Sweet, she was a graduate of Watertown High School. She took care of her family as a “do-it-all Mom.”
On July 5, 1980, she married Terry L. Majo. Mr. Majo passed away June 25, 2005.
Vicky was a former member of the Black River Legion Post 673 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed arts & crafts, crocheting, and cooking (burning lots of food) for her family.
She is survived by her children, Gordon Majo, Watertown, Elizabeth and Louis Higby of Lee Center, Ellen Majo of Watertown; her grandchildren, Kailia, Dylan, Hailey, Izzy, Lily, Anna, Destiny, Trevor, Faith, Hope; her great-grandchildren, Evelynn & Jeremiah John; and her siblings, Richard Sweet, Gordon “Mike” Sweet, Ellen Robinson, Gary (Samantha) Sweet, Brenda (Jeremiah) Delgado.
Besides her husband, Terry, she was predeceased by two siblings, Tina Sweet and David Sweet.
Her family would like to thank and acknowledge her nephew, Terry Sweet, for the care and compassion he demonstrated in Vicky’s everyday care.
