WATERTOWN, NY — Nicholas A. Burkhard, 46, of 1046 Holcomb St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with second-degree grand larceny, a felony, and first-degree falsifying business records, a felony.
Burkhard “intentionally stole $89,323.07 from Victory Promotions, 114 Parker St., owned by Charles Lamon, knowing that he had no right to do so nor any reason to believe the same,” from June 17, 2021, to Oct. 15, 2025, according to court documents.
Police allege Burkhard altered invoice information in order to conceal the commission of grand larceny in the second degree.
Burkhard was held for arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.
