WATERTOWN, NY —Â Virginia A. Jeffers, 91, formerly of Clayton, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, where she has resided for four years.
Born Nov. 9, 1928, in Watertown, the daughter of Edgar Ferd and Gladys (Hart) Macomber, she graduated from Watertown High School.
She married Donald G. Jeffers and he passed in April 2012.
For a short time she worked as an operator for the NY Telephone Co. and she was of the Baptist faith.
Virginia is survived by a daughter, Sharlyn E. Ivey, Citrus Springs, FL; two grandchildren, Marla and David and two great grandchildren, Jose and Julian; sister, Donna Little, Watertown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her husband, Don, she was predeceased by her two sons, Stephen and Glenn Jeffers and her sister Betty Freeman.
As per her wishes, there will be no services.
