W. Carthage man charged with burglary

CARTHAGE, NY —  Richard M. Nellenbach Jr., 31, of 30 N. Broad St., Apt. 105, West Carthage, was charged by Carthage police at 5:07 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at his residence with third-degree burglary, a felony, fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, and second-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Nellenbach is accused of tearing a screen and entering a building through an unlocked window without permission at about 8:25 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Parsonage of the Community Church, 112 N. School St., Carthage, according to court documents.

He was arraigned by video before West Carthage Judge Richard Buckingham who ordered him held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building without bail.
