WATERTOWN, NY — Walter H.L. Davis, Jr., 39, Watertown, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, in Watertown.
The funeral will be 1 pm Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor John Petit officiating. Â Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Â Calling hours are Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the funeral.
He is survived by his mother Georgiana Countryman Davis, Watertown, his father Walter H.L., Sr., Theresa, four children Zachary Young, Abigail Davis and twins Shane and Shawn Davis; two sisters Holly (Franshon) Purvis, Shakira (Ed) Hines; his brother Brent Davis (Jennifer Fulton) and an adopted sister Sara (Mike) Lillie, all of Watertown; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Sally Davis Rice and Walter Davis and his maternal grandparents Pete and Pauline Countryman.
He was born Aug. 12, 1984, in Watertown, a son to Walter H.L. Sr and Georgiana Countryman Davis.
Following his education, Walter worked for several construction companies and was a stone mason by trade.
