Watertown man accused of choking woman

WATERTOWN, NY —  Patrick J. Fish, 36, of 634 Factory St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at his residence with criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Fish is accused of placing both his hands on the chest of Shantel E. Clark, 27, and pushed her causing her to fall down on top of a furniture stand resulting in bruising at about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at their home, police said. He also allegedly placed his hands around her throat and applied pressure causing her to feel as though she could not breathe, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment in City Court.
