Watertown man accused of displaying knife during verbal altercation, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Michael T .Dixon, Sr., 52, 515 Bradley St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 722 W. Main St. with two counts each of third-degree menacing, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Dixon is accused of displaying a black and silver Husky utility knife during a verbal altercation placing a man and woman in reasonable fear of physical injury at about 11:25 a.m. Oct. 27 at 722 W. Main St., Apt. 1, according to court documents.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending video arraignment.
