WATERTOWN, NY —Â Â Simbarashe Damba, 22, of 806 Burchard St., Apt. 8, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 491 Factory St. with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, petit larceny and second-degree harassment.
Mr. Damba is accused of violating the terms of an City Court order of protection when he headbutted Kelicia Asante, 24, causing her nose to bleed during a domestic incident at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at 550 Factory St., Apt. D, according to court documents. He is also accused of stealing her Apple iPhone 6 valued at $200, police said.
He is summoned to appear Feb. 11 in City Court.
