Watertown man accused of possessing weapon, controlled substance at Dulles State Office Building

WATERTOWN, NY —   Joseph R. Kuhn, 38, of 234 Rexford Place, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Dulles State Office Building, 317 Washington St., with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

He is accused of entering the building with metal knuckles and MDMA “Molly” at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to court documents. He was previously convicted of a crime on Oct. 3, 2016, in City Court, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court, police said.
