Watertown man accused of pulling another down stairs during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NY — Jordan T. Martin, 47, of 513 Mundy St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 22056 Route 11, with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of violating the orders of a City Court refrain-from order of protection when he struck Christopher A. Martin, 52, and pulled him down stairs causing the victim’s right eye to become “very red and swollen to the point where he could not see,” at about 5:37 p.m. Tuesday at their residence, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.
