WATERTOWN, NY — Marcel C. Evans, 24, of 606 Gotham St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:02 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at 175 Arsenal St. with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Mr. Evans is accused of punching Isabelle Grandinetti, 21, numerous times in her face causing significant redness and swelling during a domestic incident at about 6:23 a.m. Jan. 1 at 606 Gotham St., according to court documents. He also allegedly damaged a coffee table and a Memorex television, police said. The value of items damaged was listed at $45 by police.
He was also charged with another count of fourth-degree criminal mischief for a separate incident. Mr. Evans allegedly smashed two picture frames belonging to Suzanne M. Evans, 45 at about 6:15 a.m. Jan. 1 at 379 Flower Ave. E., police said.
He was being held pending arraignment Monday morning in City Court.
