WATERTOWN, NY —Â Shawn C. Fountain, 27, of 1161 State St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at 1161 State St. with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.
Mr. Fountain is accused of punching Faith L. Roberts, 20, in her left eye while she was holding a 17-month-old girl during a domestic incident at about 6:55 p.m. Thursday at 1161 State St., police said.
He is also accused of taking a cell phone out of her hand after she stated she was going to call the police, according to court documents.
He was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
