WATERTOWN, NY — Ernest J. Rizzo, 58, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 14-1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:21 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, in the 800 block of Arsenal Street with petit larceny.
Mr. Rizzo is accused of stealing $59.49 when he took a donation box off a hostess podium at about 2:33 p.m. Aug. 30 at Applebee’s restaurant, 1283 Arsenal St., and placed the box in a grocery bag with the intent to leave the restaurant with the money, according to court documents.
He is summoned to appear Sept. 9 in City Court.
