Watertown man accused of threatening another with a knife

WATERTOWN, NY — Robert J. Marino Jr., 51, of 655 Emerson St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:09 p.m. Monday, May 20, at 650 Emerson St. with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Mr. Marino is accused of displaying a knife towards Shane Sweetland, 49, in a threatening manner after threatening to fight him at about 6:29 p.m. Monday, May 20, at 650 Emerson St., police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.
