Watertown man accused of violating order of protection, using vehicle without permission

WATERTOWN, NY —  Dylan J. Webb, 28, of 520 Stone St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:47 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at 595 W. Main St. with second-degree criminal contempt and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Mr. Webb is accused of violating the terms of City Court refrain-from order of protection when he took a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu belonging to the protected party, Marlene A. Gowing, 77, after she told him verbally that he did not have permission to use the vehicle at about 9:00 a.m. Saturday at 520 Stone St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment in court, police said.
