Watertown man caused $1,648 worth of damage to woman’s car at tavern, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Randy J. Rasmussen, 32, of 22063 US Route 11, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:36 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony.

He is accused of causing $1,648 worth of damage to a 2018 Honda Accord belonging to April A. LaRock, 48, Watertown, when he “keyed” the hood and driver’s side door at about 1:49 a.m. Aug. 16 at Whistler’s Tavern, 109 Public Square, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment in City Court.
