Watertown man charged with shoplifting

WATERTOWN, NYKyle G. Hanna, 32, of 1003 Harrison St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:34 p.m. March 20 at 695 Mill St. with petit larceny.

Mr. Hanna is accused of placing two packages of cake bites worth $2.98 into his coat pockets and then exited The General Store, 816 Bradley St., without attempting to pay at about 12:14 p.m. Jan. 16, police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
