Watertown man damaged woman’s phone during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Travis C. Johnson, 29, of 129 N. Orchard St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:41 a.m. Friday, July 26, at his residence with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Mr. Johnson is accused of intentionally damaging a cell phone valued at $129 and belonging to Karen Martin, 28, during a domestic incident at about 11:33 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at 129 N. Orchard St., police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
