Watertown man facing felony weapon charge, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Guy D. Smith, 48, of 847 Cooper St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:43 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 661 Factory St. with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Mr. Smith is accused of “possessing a dagger while having been convicted of first-degree robbery on Nov. 13, 2007, in Jefferson County Court,” at about 12:23 a.m. Tuesday at 661 Factory St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.
