Watertown man’s tooth chipped after being punched during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Desiree N. Lawrence, 28, of 404 Arsenal St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, with third-degree assault, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Ms. Lawrence is accused of striking Dustin L. Bourquin, 32, several times in his face and head with a closed fist causing his tooth to chip during a domestic incident at about 2:00 a.m. Feb. 6 at their residence, according to court documents. She also allegedly pulled herself away and refused to provide her arms after being told she was under arrest, police said.

During processing at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, she allegedly refused to provide her middle name and social security number, police said.

She was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.
