Watertown Saturday Farmers’ Market to open for the season

WATERTOWN, NY — The Watertown Saturday Farmers’ Market will open for the 2019 season on June 1st. It will again be Downtown in the Mayor Joseph M. Butler Pavilion located in the J.B. Wise Parking Lot at 175 Black River Parkway. The Market will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm every Saturday through Oct. 26th.

The market is easy to access via Black River Parkway from Coffeen Street or Mill Street. The J.B. Wise Parking Lot can also be entered from Public Square or the Court Street Parking Lot.

There is plenty of free parking and customers shop under the protection of the pavilion.

The market features locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, honey, maple syrup, plants, cut flowers, and baked goods, as well as locally produced arts and crafts. Returning vendors will include Al’s Gardens, Tickle The Earth Farm, Farmers Wife Creations and Greenhouse, Worth Gold Farm, Wyn-De-Elm Farm, Stony Creek Country Store, Northern Lights Nursery, Grassroots Meats and Meekestead Farm. New farm vendors are expected.

Worth Gold Farm will again be selling hickory smoked pork sandwiches directly from their smoker.
