Watertown woman charged with aggravated DWI, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Brittney N. Rogers, 27, of 1202 Superior St., Apt. G5, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:49 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in the 1200 block of Coffeen Street with aggravated driving while intoxicated and crossing road hazard markings.

Her blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.

Ms. Rogers is summoned to appear Sept. 9 in City Court.
