Remarks: At 1836 hours companies were dispatched to 1547 State St for a reported structure fire. The first arriving company arrived within 2 minutes of dispatch to find a moderate smoke condition on the first floor of a 2 story commercial laundromat with a vacant residential unit above. The first arriving engine advanced a hoseline inside the structure where they found a fire in a commercial dryer extending to surrounding areas. The fire was quickly extinguished with damage confined to the dryer units and the areas surrounding the affected units. Units operated for just under 2 hours performing overhaul and venting smoke from both floors of the building. One civilian was treated by Guilfoyle on scene for smoke inhalation.
