WATERTOWN, NY — Shelby C. Smith, 23, of 20309 County Route 63, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:05 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
Ms. Smith is accused of causing $1,333 worth of damage to a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic belonging to Miranda M. McGaw, 21, Brownville, when she scratched the vehicle with a key at about 11:30 a.m. July 11 in the 300 block of Sterling Street, police said.
She is summoned to appear July 26 n City Court.
