Woman accused of stealing item from Watertown Mayor Smith’s front porch

WATERTOWN, NY —  Crystal K. Crosbie, 43, of 32650 State Route 3, Great Bend, was charged by Watertown police at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with petit larceny.

Ms. Crosbie is accused of stealing a decorative sign from the front porch at the home of Watertown Mayor Jeffrey M. Smith, 51, at about 4:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at 140 Keyes Avenue, according to court documents.

She was being held pending a video arraignment, police said.
