MALONE, NY — On July 21, 2018, at approximately 11:15 a.m., State Police responded to the Franklin Correctional Facility in the town of Malone for a report of a subject with contraband.
An investigation conducted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Office of Special Investigations arrested 29-year-old Jeanette R. Davis of Rochester, NY, after she was found in possession of approximately 23.7 grams of synthetic marijuana intended to be given to an inmate, trooper said.
Davis was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd degree, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree and NYS Public Health Law section 229- Violating the States Sanitary Code.
Davis was arraigned in the Town of Malone Court and remanded to the custody of the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
