WATERTOWN, NY — Aric J. Donaldson, 26, of 99108 Forrest Dr., Apt. A, Fort Drum was charged by Watertown police at 1:22 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, on Public Square with aggravated driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving across a sidewalk.
His blood alcohol content was 0.29 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.
He is ordered to appear Aug. 29 in City Court.
