WPD: Fort Drum woman’s BAC was 0.30 percent during traffic stop

WATERTOWN, NYHanna E. Tamberelli, 25, of 9214 York St., Apt. C, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 7:11 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at 1290 Arsenal St. with aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

Police said her blood alcohol content was 0.30 percent.

A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.

She is summoned to appear Aug. 1 in City Court.
