WATERTOWN, NYÂ — Matthew J. Creighton, 36, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 29, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:01 p.m. Monday, June 18, at 340 Eastern Blvd. with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
Police said he possessed a switchblade knife during a traffic stop and was previously convicted of a crime on Sept. 6, 2016, according to court documents.
He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.
