WPD: Man struck two women with imitation pistol

WATERTOWN, NY —  Jesse R. Davis, 24, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 24, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:19 p.m. May 20 at 276 State St. with two counts of second-degree assault, a felony, and a single count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Mr. Davis is accused of using a black Daisy imitation pistol to strike Lisa M. Kish and Rebeka A. Caplicki each in their heads several times at about 1:00 a.m. May 16 at 276 State St., police said. Ms. Caplicki suffered a large laceration to her forehead and Ms. Kish was hospitalized for her injuries, police said.

He was held for arraignment in court.
