WATERTOWN, NY —Â Â Walter H.L. Davis Jr., 35, of 205 E. Lynde St., Apt. B, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:12 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at 205 E. Lynde St. with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors.
Mr. Davis is accused of swinging a hatchet towards the face of his girlfriend, Heather Elliott, 39, during a domestic incident at his apartment at about 3:00 a.m. July 2, according to court documents.
He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending a video arraignment.
