WPD: Man’s BAC was 0.32 percent

WATERTOWN, NY —  Taylor E. Reardon, 30, of 818 Ann St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, in the 600 block of W. Main Street with aggravated driving while intoxicated, improper right turn and a headlight violation.

A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater. Police said his BAC was 0.32 percent.

He is summoned to appear Jan. 21 in City Court.
