CARTHAGE, NY — The funeral service for Yvonne A. Hunter, 69, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday April 29, at the funeral home. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Natural Bridge Fire Hall immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday.
Yvonne passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 24.
Born Sept. 17, 1949, in Watertown, the daughter to Robert L. and Madeline Doolittle Buckley, she worked for several years at Lofink’s in Carthage.
She was a member of the Natural Bridge Ladies Auxiliary.
Yvonne enjoyed camping, planting flower beds, pottery but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (Hank Dye) Hunter, Ohio; Lori (David Lillie) Bova, Adams; Jeffrey (Michelle Jones) Hunter, Wesley Island; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Terry (Sharon) Buckley, Adams; Michael (Terry) Buckley, Rutland; Kevin Buckley, Cathage and Patricia (Roy) Morgan, Carthage.
Besides her parents Yvonne was predeceased by her best friend of 30 plus years, Nancy Mead.
