WATERTOWN, NY — The New York State Zoo at Thompson Park will be kicking off a rebranding campaign at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2.
The rebranding campaign will highlight the transition from the name “New York State Zoo at Thompson Park” to a name that properly fits the efforts and mission of the Zoo.
The name change is designed to increase the focus and mission of the Zoo in the north country. The Zoo showcases and highlights all the animals that could possibly be seen across the state, making the new name an ideal choice for the organization.
There will be a brief press conference and logo reveal immediately following a few statements by executive director, Larry Sorel, and other members of the Zoo Staff. Members of the staff will be available for questions immediately following the new logo reveal.
