Dorothy I. Munger, 105, Pulaski

PULASKI, NY — Dorothy I. Munger, 105, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018.

Born June 9, 1913, in Altmar, NY, a daughter of the late Earl and Blanche (Hall) Waite, she was educated in Fernwood School.

She married Donald Amos Munger on Dec. 1, 1932, in Fernwood Baptist Church. The couple lived in Pulaski for 28 years and 13 years in Ricard. They raised horses on their farm. Dorothy also worked at General Electric in Syracuse for 14 years retiring in 1974.

She was a, artist and enjoyed painting.

Surviving are three daughters Almeda Grandjean, Adams Center, Alice LaCelle, Altmar, Donna Addington, Lacona, a daughter in law Barbara Munger,17 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; two sons, Clayton and Kenneth; a daughter, Roseman; a twin brother, Donald Waite; a brother, Carl Waite; and a sister, Goldie Bond.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, in Maple View Cemetery. A reception will follow at 2 p.m. at the Ricard Grange Hall.
