Lily T. Green has earned the distinction of Valedictorian for the Sackets Harbor Central School Class of 2026 with an overall grade point average of 97.63. Lily has garnered this honor by being diligent and hard-working with regard to her studies. She has achieved excellent grades while taking challenging classes and sustaining a rigorous athletic career. She has scored mastery (85+) on multiple Regents Exams throughout high school and as a junior, Lily earned A’s in her college level Spanish classes.This year, Lily has challenged herself by taking college courses in Business, Economics, English, Mathematics, and Political Science.Thus far, Lily has successfully completed 16 credits through SUNY Jefferson and has a college GPA of 4.0. Lily has earned many honors and awards throughout her high school career. She was awarded the WWNY News 7 Academic All-Star. Lily was also a recipient of the University of Rochester’s Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Elmira College Key Award, and the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Business and Leadership Award. Additionally, she has been the recipient of many academic awards at our school including the Excellence in Health Award as a freshman, the Excellence in Chemistry Award as a Junior, and the Excellence in Precalculus Award as Junior. Lily is respected by her peers and has served as Class Vice President during her Junior and Senior years. Lily’s academic successes and fine character have been recognized by her membership in both National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
Lily has been involved in many extracurricular endeavors. She has been a member of our varsity girls soccer team since 7th grade and is a three time Frontier League All-Star. She was a Section III All Star this year. Lily has been a member of our varsity girls basketball team since 7th grade and is a five time Frontier League All-Star in this sport. She received recognition from Section III during her junior season and Lily was awarded Honorable Mention by the state during that season as well. She was also recognized as an athlete scoring more than 1000 points during her career at Sackets Harbor. Additionally, Lily has been a member of our varsity softball team since 8th grade and is a three time Frontier League All-Star. Lily has exhibited her leadership skills as a Captain through all three seasons. She serves as a “big” in our Patriot Pals program. She is also a member of the Sackets Sentinels Marching Band and an on-air member of our Whiz Quiz team.
Lily has also been a participant in community service initiatives. She has volunteered at our local marathons; handing out water to runners at a water station. Lily has also volunteered as a chaperone for a dance for our elementary school students, has kept stats for our boys basketball program, and assisted as a coach for our Future Stars Summer basketball camp.
Lily will be attending Keuka College in the Fall where she will be majoring in Math Teacher Education and playing both Soccer and Basketball.

Matteo Dalpe has earned the distinction of Salutatorian for the Sackets Harbor Central School Class of 2026 with an overall grade point average of 97.27. Matteo has earned this honor by displaying a dedicated work-ethic toward his studies. As a junior, Matteo took a full slate of classes including U.S. History, English 11, Chemistry, Algebra 2, and college courses in business and Spanish. This year he is taking college classes through SUNY Jefferson in the disciplines of English, business, economics, and political science. His Jefferson Community College grade point average thus far after completing 18 credits is a 4.0. Matteo has received many accolades throughout his high school career. He received the University of Rochester’s George Eastman Young Leaders Award, the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Humanities & Social Sciences Award, the Russell Sage College’s Student Sage Award, is a St. Michael’s College Book Award recipient, received the Wilkes University Emerging Leader Award, and he was a St. Lawrence University Augsbury Scholarship nominee.
Matteo has won several department awards from our faculty for his scholastic prowess including the Chemistry Award, U.S. History Award, and the BUS 112- Intro to Business Award. He is also a member of both National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
Matteo is involved in a multitude of extracurricular endeavors. He was an on-air member of our Whiz Quiz team. He is also a four year member of our varsity baseball team and a two year member of our varsity hockey team before transitioning to solely playing advanced travel hockey. Additionally, Matteo is a member of our school band where he serves as trumpet section leader. Also, he serves as treasurer for the graduating class of 2026.
Matteo has a servant’s heart and loves to give back to his community. He has served as a volunteer with the Youth Court of Jefferson County for the past three years. He also volunteers as a “big” in our school’s Patriot Pals program where he mentors an elementary school student from our district.
Matteo will be attending SUNY Binghamton in the fall where he will be majoring in history. He desires to ultimately become a lawyer.

Tanner Antonson is this year’s Career & Tech Program Leader for the Sackets Harbor Central School Class of 2026. Tanner has earned this honor by achieving an overall grade point average of 95.33 in the Criminal Justice program at BOCES. Additionally, Tanner is a strong student here at Sackets, earning a 92.76 overall high school grade point average. Tanner does well academically while challenging himself. This year, in addition to his career & tech program at BOCES, he is taking college coursework in business and psychology and challenging high school courses, such as Anatomy & Physiology and Precalculus. Last year, Tanner successfully completed coursework in rigorous high school classes, including Algebra 2 and Chemistry.
Through BOCES, Tanner is a participant in SkillsUSA where he has placed both first and second in crime scene investigation competitions. Tanner also serves as a SkillsUSA officer and is a student liaison with the adult SkillsUSA committee. Tanner also serves as a student representative on the Sackets Harbor Central School’s Board of Education.
Tanner also gives back by participating in community service initiatives. As both a Junior and a Senior, Tanner volunteered at Boo at the Zoo, a fundraiser to raise money for the Thompson Park Zoo. During the last two open houses at the Bohlen Technical Center, Tanner has volunteered to serve as security. Also, as a Junior he was a red kettle bell ringer for the Salvation Army at the Bohlen Technical Center.
Tanner will be attending the University of New Haven in the fall where he will be majoring in forensic science.
